Minutes of the Extraordinary Meeting held in the Village Hall, Castle Combe

1. Apologies for absence

2. Declarations of Interest
None
3. 2017-18 Budget
The Council reviewed the draft budget for the financial year. It was proposed by Cllr. Halliday and seconded by Cllr Ruggles that it was approved. This was agreed unanimously by the Council.
4. 2016-17 Accounting Statements
The Clerk reviewed the annual accounting statements and said the external audit continues to become more rigorous with the Council now being treated as small businesses even more so as they are dealing with public money.
It was proposed by Cllr Blair and seconded by Cllr Halliday that the accounting statements were approved. This was agreed unanimously by the Council
4. Market Cross
The Chairman said their were a few minor alterations to the Heritage Lottery grant application before it was set and asked for the Councils agreement that the Councils contribution to the repairs would be £20000.
It was proposed by Cllr Ruggles and seconded by Cllr Blair that this figure was approved. This was agreed unanimously by the Council.
The meeting closed at 8.00p.m.
